Airport Customer Service (Austin, Texas)

Air General, a national cargo handling company, is seeking an experienced cargo manager, supervisor, customer service agents and warehouse/mail agents for our Austin TX operation, commencing June/July 2013. Management and supervisor requirements include domestic and international air cargo knowledge and experience, with a strong focus on customer service. Customer service and warehouse agent duties include documentation, data entry, warehouse cargo handling, loading and unloading and above all, great customer service. Must be able to work independently and as part of a team. Must be willing to work shift hours that can include nights, evenings, weekends and holidays. Must be able to pass background checks, drug screening, and be able to obtain an airport ID. Domestic and international air cargo experience desirable.     0-1 Years = 1 Week

  • Life Insurance:

    Employees are entitled to a $12,000 Company paid Life Insurance policy after ninety (90) days of employment with Air General. In addition employees are entitled to Company paid Life Insurance equal to one times their annual salary after one (1) year of employment with Air General.

  • Sick Time:

    Six (6) paid sick days per year are accrued at four (4) hours per month and will be paid on an as needed basis to all employees who have completed six (6) months of employment.

  • 401(k):

    Employees may enroll in the 401(k) program after six months of employment with Air General. After completing one year of service, Air General will match employee contributions. The Employer match is fifty (50) % of up to four (4) % of your weekly salary.

  • Health Insurance:

    Employees are entitled to Health Insurance provided by Cigna, after ninety (90) days of employment with Air General.

  • Education:

    Employees are eligible for tuition reimbursement after six (6) months of employment. Tuition will be paid to employees for courses that are business/work related and upon successful completion of the course.
