Robert M. Maloney Jr. & Sr. Memorial Scholarship
Each year, Air General awards a substantial academic college scholarship to the dependent of an eligible employee.
The Scholarship Committee is pleased to announce our 2025 Winner for the Air General Robert M. Maloney Sr. & Jr. Scholarship, is Molly McGiveney daughter of Rick McGiveney, our very own TPA Station Manager!
Molly will be attending the University of South Florida with studies in the field of Biology, with a focus on animals, seeking to become a veterinarian! We look forward to all the great things that are in her plans and we wish her the best of luck in her future endeavors!

Tuition Reimbursement
To be recognized as the industry-leading provider of quality cargo, passenger and logistics solutions which is committed to our employees, customers, and business partners.
401(k) Retirement Plan and Roth
Employees may enroll in the 401(k) program after six months of employment with Air General. After completing one year of service, Air General will match employee contributions. The Employer match is fifty (50) % of up to six (6) % of your weekly salary. Air General also offers a Roth plan.
Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
Provides free help with everyday challenges, such as financial problems, childcare, stress, home buying, college tuition, elderly care, mental health, substance abuse, relationship abuse, loss and grief, and much more. In addition, counseling benefits, extensive online resources, and 24/hour phone services are available to all employees and their immediate family members.
Paid Time Off (PTO) & Sick Leave
- 0 – 1 Year = 80 hours
- 2 – 4 Years = 120 hours
- 5 – 13 Years = 160 hours
- 14+ Years = 200 hours
Five (5) paid sick days per year are accrued monthly and may be used on an as needed basis to all employees who have completed three (3) months/ 90 days of employment.

Health Saving & Spending Accounts
Health Savings Account (HSA)
A tax-advantaged savings account that employees can open to set aside money on a pre-tax basis to pay for qualified medical expenses.
Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA)
An employer-sponsored plan that allows you to use tax-free dollars to pay for eligible health expenses incurred while you’re participating in the plan.
Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account (DCFSA)
An employer sponsored plan that allows you to use tax-free dollars to pay for eligible dependent care expenses incurred while you’re participating in the plan.
Limited Purpose Flexible Spending Account (LPFSA)
An employer sponsored account that can be used to pay eligible dental and vision expenses when you are enrolled in a High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP) and HSA.
Life Insurance
Employees are covered under a company paid life insurance policy with no waiting period. One policy is equal to $12,000 and the other policy is equal to one times the employee’s annual salary. (subject to salary caps)
Medical, Dental, Vision, and Voluntary Plans
We follow state Individual Coverage Health Reimbursement Arrangement (ICHRA) plans. This is an employer-funded, tax-advantaged health benefit that allows employers of any size to reimburse employees for individual health insurance premiums. Unlike traditional group plans, ICHRA offers flexibility, allowing businesses to set fixed budgets while employees choose their own Affordable Care Act (ACA) -compliant plans.
Health plans are accessible on the 1st of the month, following 30 days from hire date.
