Alaska Airlines names DFW and DTW 2022 Safety and Performance winners and Linette Watson, MCO, Champion Award Winner.

Alaska Airlines has announced the winners of their 2022 stations of the year awards. With four categories of stations, we’re excited to report that Air General locations won two of them! We’re proud of our station at Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) for being the winner in the medium size category for safety and performance and the Air General station at Detroit Metro Airport (DTW) for winning in the small station category for the second year in a row! Both station achieved over 99% overall ranking for safety and performance – both were ranked at 100% for safety throughout the year. DFW handled over 4k shipments while repeat champion DTW handled over 800 throughout the year.

In addition, Linette Watson from the Air General station at Orlando International Airport (MCO) was named the Alaska Airlines Cargo Employee of the year, Champion Award Winner for the Southeast Region.

Linette and members of the DTW and DFW teams will be invited to Seattle on March 1 for a celebration with Alaska Airlines who will also be hosting station celebrations in DTW and DFW in the next month or two. More information to follow as it is received.
