At Air General, training is more than a requirement – it is a cornerstone of our culture, our safety mindset, and our commitment to excellence. The 2025 Recognition Awards proudly celebrate station teams that demonstrated exceptional focus, consistency, and leadership in completing airline and Litmos training throughout the year. These accomplishments reflect teamwork, accountability, and the dedication required to meet the highest operational standards.

Best of the Best: DTW

DTW was recognized as Best of the Best for All Airlines and Litmos Training, the highest distinction awarded this year. This recognition represents outstanding performance across all required airline programs and Litmos coursework. DTW’s results set a strong benchmark for the entire organization, showing what can be achieved when training is embraced as a shared responsibility across the full station team.

Excellence in Airline-Specific Training

Several stations also earned recognition for excellence in specific airline programs. GEG was named Best for Litmos and Southwest Airlines Training, demonstrating strong alignment with both general and airline-specific learning requirements and a clear commitment to consistent completion.

MCI and SDF earned honors as Best for Delta Airlines Training, reflecting a strong understanding of Delta’s operational expectations and disciplined follow-through by station leadership. These achievements reinforce how focused training efforts strengthen airline partnerships and build operational confidence across the network.

Best Stations for Litmos Training

Additional recognition goes to FLL, IAB, MEM, MHT, and STL as Best Stations for Litmos Training. These teams showed discipline, consistency, and commitment across all required training modules. Their performance highlights the importance of completing training thoroughly and on time to support safety, compliance, and overall operational performance.

Outstanding Performance by Ocean Stations

Air General’s ocean stations also delivered exceptional results in 2025. DOC, HOC, and SOCI were recognized as Best Ocean Stations for Litmos Training. While ocean stations do not operate within a traditional airport cargo community, their dedication to training has helped build strong reputations within their customer base. That commitment has attracted new business and earned respect, proving that training excellence translates into measurable success regardless of location.

Training as a Foundation for Safety and Success

Training is a must-have for all of us. It strengthens safety practices, reinforces best procedures, and ensures we are prepared to meet the evolving demands of our airline partners. Tim Cotter, Manager of Training and Leadership Development, recognized the collective effort behind these accomplishments:

“Congratulations to all the stations listed for an excellent year with training results. Everyone worked hard with all the training we received from the Airlines and Litmos.”

As Duncan Cobourne, Manager of Safety Compliance, shared in his message to the teams, the results achieved this year speak volumes:

“I want to echo Tim’s message and give a huge shoutout to each of you for your incredible dedication and hard work this past year. It’s fantastic to see the amazing training results across the board, and I’m particularly thankful for the emphasis on safety—I truly appreciate your efforts in this area. Your commitment reflects not just on you individually, but on your entire team and strengthens your station’s relationship with our airline partners. It also enhances Air General’s reputation in your airport cargo community. Ocean stations don’t have a cargo community around an airport, but their reputations have attracted new business and earned them respect within their customer base.”

Leadership and Continuous Improvement

These achievements would not be possible without the focus and follow-up provided by station leadership. As Charles White, Manager of DG and Environmental Compliance, emphasized:

“I would also like to congratulate these station teams. Training is an important must-have for us all, and kudos to our top performers. It takes focus as a team and constant follow-up by our station leaders to achieve. Thank you for being the Best of the Best.”

Plaques are being sent to each recognized station as a symbol of appreciation for a job well done. They represent not only successful completion of training requirements, but a culture of professionalism, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Congratulations to all the stations recognized for an excellent year of training results. Their dedication strengthens Air General, reinforces our airline partnerships, and sets the standard for success across the organization. Let’s keep this momentum going.
